Behind Rosesands Mountain Lodge
Rosesands Mountain Lodge was created to provide guests with a comfortable base for experiencing the dramatic beauty of Mpumalanga’s Skurweberg range. Situated within the 2,475-hectare Goedgelegen Nature Conservancy, the lodge is surrounded by rugged peaks, cascading waterfalls, and untamed African bush where giraffe, kudu, zebra, sable, eland, and many other species roam freely.
There is a 6 km dirt road from the main road to Rosesands Mountain Lodge. The code for the Goedgelegen Conservancy gate will be provided on the day of check-in.
Its location, just three hours from Johannesburg and close to both Machadodorp and Badplaas, offers convenient access without sacrificing the feeling of being far from the bustle of city life. The absence of mobile signal encourages a genuine connection to nature, while free Wi-Fi in all units is available for those who want to stay connected.
