Rosesands Mountain Lodge offers a variety of outdoor experiences for families, adventure seekers, and nature lovers. Enjoy fishing, game drives, hiking, and mountain biking while exploring the natural beauty of the Goedgelegen Nature Conservancy.
Rosesands Lodge features two private trout dams with braai areas and private toilet facilities. Guests can enjoy a relaxing day fishing or having a picnic while others cast their lines. Rates are provided upon booking.
Guided fly fishing for yellowfish, bass, kurper, and barbel is available on nearby farms along the Komati River. Locations and detailed arrangements are provided on request. Rates are provided upon booking.
A daily game drive in the lodge’s game viewer allows guests to spot local wildlife. The game viewer serves all three units and must be booked in advance. Drivers must hold a South African driving license, and guests under 18 are not permitted to drive. Additional game drives are available for a fee.
Wing shooting for geese, spearwing, and rock pigeons can be arranged on neighbouring farms. Guests must provide their own firearms and ammunition. This activity is available on request.
Explore scenic hiking trails within the Goedgelegen Nature Conservancy. Guests can discover waterfalls, streams, and natural landscapes ideal for cooling off on warm days.
